At Springhill Baptist Church our mission statement is Transforming Lives Through Christ. to carry God’s message of love and forgiveness to the world in desperate need of a Savior.

    As His church, we are called to follow Jesus and seek to be more like Him each day.  We are also commanded to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.  From this love flows a Christ-like love for people.  Jesus said the lost world would know you are Christians by the love you show for each other.  This kind of love only takes place through relationships, and relationships only take place when people get to know each other.   We are then commissioned to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the world, beginning in our community. As we reach out together in love, making disciples, we fulfill the mission God has given us.

 

    It is impossible to fulfill the Great Commission alone.  We need one another so that we can faithfully complete this lifelong adventure of following Jesus Christ.  May God bless you and your family as you continue to serve our Lord Jesus here at Springhill.
