Keno King has been in student ministry for over 27 years, He was married on December 11th of 2004 to his partner in ministry, Johanna. Together they have four kids, Kiah, Deacon, Bishop, and Shepherd.
They both have a passion to see the church love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. If the church would love God, they will love the people who Christ has died for. They have a strong desire to pour their lives into the community God has called them to. God has been working on Keno’s heart for some time to become a senior pastor. He believes that part of his calling will be to help the church accomplish the vision that God has called them to.
His favorite things to do is being with his family, anything Sooners, golfing and riding his motorcycle. Keno grew up in Mcalester, Ok. He is looking forward to returning to Southeast Oklahoma do the work God has for him and his family.

Camron Steadman serves as our Student Minister with a deep passion for helping students grow and mature in their faith. With experience in both youth and college ministry, Camron brings a heart dedicated to guiding students toward a lasting, personal relationship with Jesus. He believes that discipleship is about more than just knowledge, it’s about walking alongside students through life’s challenges and victories, helping them apply God’s truth daily.
Camron met his wife, Christlyn, at Northeastern State University. Together, they share a vision for ministry and love partnering to encourage and equip young people. Camron’s heart is to build a community where students are embraced, equipped, and motivated to live their faith courageously and authentically.

Before moving to southeastern Oklahoma 10 years ago, Khris and his wife, Charlotte, were lifelong natives to the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Khris has been married to Charlotte since 2001, and has been richly blessed with five children: Kylie, Garrett, Mariah, and twins Justus and Levi.
Khris is a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and pursued a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Theological Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
For 15 years, Khris served as a full-time youth pastor and loves to invest in the lives of students. His philosophy of ministry is to never confine yourself to the four walls of the church, hence his strong passion for missions. Because of his desire to reach students outside of the church, Khris has taught school since 2016. He is currently a teacher in the Poteau School District and teaches 8th Grade Science and Leadership.

Stephanie (Benefield) Wilson is a hometown girl who recently moved back to the Southeast Oklahoma area. She spent the last 20 years living in the San Francisco Bay area in Fremont, California; Castle Rock, Colorado; and Van Alstyne, Texas. In addition to living in several different states, Stephanie also held a variety of occupations through the years such as: Teacher, Social Worker, Church Secretary, Sylvan Tutor, Sylvan Director of Education, Front Desk Coordinator at Castle Rock Senior Activity Center, Meals on Wheels Manager, and Activities Director with Van Alstyne Senior Activity Center. Currently, she is the Administrative Assistant here at Springhill Baptist Church and also is a Brain Trainer with LearningRx three afternoons a week. Stephanie believes that in every life change, good and bad, God is in control. Through the circumstances that moved Stephanie back to this area, God has truly been her anchor, shelter, and protector.
